- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up (inside 24 hours, the reservation deposit is not refunded and a 20% fee applies)
Self-drive or chauffeured
Every car on this page is available for self-drive car rental in Tunisia: minimum age 21, licence held for at least two years, passport or ID and a credit or debit card. If you would rather not drive, VIPCAR is best known for its chauffeur service: a Mercedes E-Class or V-Class with a professional English- and French-speaking driver, by the hour, the day or for a multi-day tour, with a fixed quote confirmed on WhatsApp before you travel.

What is the cheapest car to rent?+
Our economy city cars, like the Kia Picanto, carry the lowest daily rates — and rates drop further for weekly and monthly rentals. Exact prices in TND are shown on each car page.
What does the daily rate include?+
300 km per day, basic third-party insurance, fuel full-to-full, free delivery and collection at Tunis-Carthage and Djerba-Zarzis airports (Enfidha: €60 each way), and 24/7 assistance. Rates are in TND with a EUR conversion; we also accept USD, GBP and SAR.
What is the security deposit for each category?+
Economy cars 1,500–3,000 TND, standard cars 5,000 TND, luxury cars 6,000–8,000 TND — the exact amount is on each car page. The deposit is refundable, returned in full when the car comes back in good condition, and it is your maximum liability.
Are the cars automatic?+
Most of the fleet is automatic — the transmission is listed in the specifications on each car page.
Can I rent any of these cars with a chauffeur?+
The Mercedes E-Class and V-Class are our chauffeur cars, driven by professional French- and English-speaking drivers. Other classes with a driver are available on request and confirmed in your quote.
Do you have 7–8 seat vehicles for families and groups?+
Yes — the Mercedes V-Class and the Peugeot Traveller seat up to 8 with generous luggage space, self-drive or with a driver, ideal for airport transfers and tours.
Which cars can be delivered at Djerba airport?+
Any car in the fleet. Delivery and collection at Djerba-Zarzis (DJE) and Tunis-Carthage (TUN) are free, 24/7; at Enfidha-Hammamet (NBE) they cost €60 each way. Our Djerba office also delivers to the island's hotels on request.
