A Tunis airport transfer is the simplest way to start a trip in Tunisia: a driver waits in arrivals with your name on a sign, the price was agreed in writing before you flew, and you go door to door without a queue and without a meter. A private transfer is a car and a driver reserved for you alone, on a route agreed in advance. You send us your flight number, the number of passengers and your destination; we reply on WhatsApp with a fixed quote for that exact journey. There is no public price list because the price depends on the date, the time, the route and availability, but once you have the quote, that figure is the figure you pay. Once you confirm, the job is assigned to a driver who speaks French and English and knows the airport, the roads and your destination.

On the day, your driver tracks the flight. If it lands early or late, the pick-up moves with it: you do not need to call, and nothing changes in the price. He waits in the public arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, helps with the luggage and drives you door to door, whether that is a hotel reception, a private address, an office or a port. Enfidha-Hammamet mainly handles charter and holiday flights, so most passengers are heading for a resort: Hammamet and Yasmine Hammamet, Nabeul and the Cap Bon. If your package did not include transport, if you booked flights and hotel separately, or if you simply prefer not to wait for a coach, a private Enfidha airport transfer takes you straight to your hotel reception.

A word of honesty about the shared hotel shuttle: it is included in many packages and it does the job. But it waits until every passenger from the flight has cleared customs, then stops at several hotels along the way, and yours may be the last. Late in the evening, with children, or after a long flight, a private car that leaves the moment you are seated and stops only at your door is a different experience. Whether that difference is worth paying for is your call; the quote lets you decide before you travel.

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, exactly as at Tunis and Djerba. For the return, tell us your departure flight and hotel; we agree a pick-up time that gets you to the terminal with a comfortable margin and confirm it in writing. Enfidha transfers can also head north to Hammamet and Tunis or south to Sfax when your accommodation is outside the usual resort belt.

Taxis are available at all three airports, and for one or two people with light luggage on a short daytime hop into Tunis, a taxi is a perfectly reasonable choice. We are not going to tell you otherwise. The case for a private transfer is about certainty rather than distance: knowing in advance who is waiting, in which vehicle and for what price.

What you gain with a pre-booked transfer:

If you fly at night, travel with children, carry more than a cabin bag each, or are going beyond the capital to Hammamet, Nabeul or the south, the pre-booked transfer pays for itself in calm. Families need space more than speed. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class seats up to 7 with room for 6 bags, and the Peugeot Traveller seats up to 8 with the same luggage capacity: enough for a family of five with suitcases, a pushchair and a cabin bag each. For a couple or a family of three with normal luggage, a Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan with 3 bags in the boot is comfortable and discreet. Tell us how many suitcases you really have; it is the luggage, not the head count, that usually decides the vehicle.

Child seats are available on request. Tell us the children's ages when you book and we confirm the right infant or booster seats with your quote, fitted before pick-up, so you are not installing anything in an airport car park at midnight.
